Once upon a time there was a little place called Matarazzo's on Baldwin Ave. One of their employees purchased the striving business and viola! We have Marco's Deli and Pizzeria!
While Marco's does more business in the deli and hot food department, they do serve up a nice slice. Their slices are very "Little Italy" style, barely even, often out of dimension, but they serve up nice. The sauce to cheese ratio is good, and the sauce is homemade with just the right amount of basil and garlic and not too sweet like some of the places I will review at a later time. Marco himself is a nice guy and is always happy to serve. While they're not the absolute best slice in the heights, he's got some really good lunch deals and will deliver almost anywhere in Jersey City upon request.
