The sole purpose of this blog is to provide a review of every pizzeria in Jersey City along with a photo of the slice purchased. A picture can say a thousand words more than a positive shill or negative review on Yelp can. I hope that this site comes in good use for anyone new to the area who is looking for a decent pizzeria, or for someone who is looking to replace their old go-to pizza place.
I am in no way an expert in the culinary arts, but having grown up in Jersey City with pizza being a regular treat, I do consider myself a decent judge of what is good and what is not. Many pizzeria's use generic sauces, cheeses, and dough mixtures that leave out the integrity of a place creating their own masterpiece. The best rated pizzerias use only homemade ingredients and stand out from the rest.
